About

Mokihana and Pete after a Safety Pin Cafe event

For ten years Mokihana has written and left 'medicine stories' on the cloud, offered her practice of makua o'o,  shared life from a Golden Wagon, documented the building of an MCS/Environmental Illness safe nest of a home on wheels and many other blogs on the internet for any who wandered there, and opened up the Safety Pin Cafe on summer afternoons to tell stories and involve community in deep conversation. No charge. The medicine of story and everyday mythology her kuleana, her responsibility, service to the community,  part of her healthy practices. Through the writing Mokihana has  found a way  to transcend the challenges of living with a condition without a cure. Life really needs no cure. Life is the remedy. Life as art.

Myth For My Tale Bone is a new chapter in Mokihana's blogging life; Posts-for-Pay asks her readers to become patrons of her heART.
